The Reverend Dr Beatrice Brandon is a life-long supporter of the Conservative Party, and an ordained priest in the Church of England. Beatrice has lived in Northamptonshire since 1987, enjoying a traditional happy family life with her husband and daughter. Prior to ordination in 2006 in Peterborough Cathedral, Beatrice worked full-time voluntarily across the county, representing people in the Church’s synodical system, from parishes, to diocesan, and to national level.
As Archbishop’s Adviser to five Archbishops, Beatrice developed a national track-record for promoting a holistic view and community support of all-age wellbeing. She has extensive experience in city, urban and suburban contexts, and rural communities, working with a wide range of people, professions, and organisations with diverse interests.
Through personal experience in industry and commerce, Beatrice is committed to development of the UK economy, and better support of local businesses and entrepreneurs. Having studied Law, and for a Global MBA, she understands the dynamics between international and national and local business, and the vital importance of developing our economic and geo-political strengths and global positioning.
Beatrice sees her role as an MP as helping development of a clear, cohesive, and sustainable vision for the UK over the next ten years, drawing on our strengths, moving to better self-sufficiency, and influencing international concord and stability. Core to her priorities is establishing clear links between national strategies, policies, and resource deployment, which work effectively to benefit local people, in local contexts.
Beatrice has extensive experience working through institutions regarding representative roles, finance, legislation, and community wellbeing. She has always been committed to traditional Conservative values, upholding integrity and truth, and to the Nolan Principles in public life, essential at this time when public trust and hope generally in politics and politicians, need to be restored, and defended.
